By downloading, installing, or using the Bivryn application ("Bivryn," "the app," "our service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bivryn. If you are between 13 and 18, you must use Bivryn only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Bivryn reads health-related data from Apple Health and any logs you create, and generates personalized interpretations using AI. These interpretations are informational only. Bivryn is not a medical device under any regulatory framework. It is not intended to:

Bivryn's interpretations, discoveries, and recommendations are generated by AI based on your data. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for evaluating any guidance Bivryn provides and consulting qualified professionals before acting on it, especially for decisions involving your health, medications, supplements, training load, or diet.
Bivryn learns your patterns over time. Early in your usage (typically the first 14–21 days), interpretations may be based on incomplete baselines. Confidence and accuracy improve as more data accumulates.
Bivryn Bio Age is a continuous, on-device reading that combines up to nine biometric channels (VO₂max, HRV, resting heart rate, walking heart rate, heart-rate recovery, blood pressure, waist-to-height, sleep efficiency, and blood work when imported) against your own personal baselines and published healthy ranges. The references that inform each channel are documented in the in-app Citation Library.
Bivryn Bio Age is not a clinical biological age. It is a fitness-flavored composite reading intended to be observational — it should not be used to make medical decisions, to diagnose any condition, or as a substitute for laboratory testing. Day-to-day variation is normal; the reading is most meaningful as a trend over weeks. Confidence labels (Strong, Moderate, Emerging) reflect how many channels Bivryn currently has and should be read accordingly.
Bivryn's optional "My Circle" feature lets you invite up to five other people to receive a calm biology summary about you. When you invite someone and they accept, sharing runs through Apple's CloudKit Shared Database. Bivryn's servers do not receive, store, or process the shared payload; the flow is between your iCloud account and the recipient's, encrypted per Apple's iCloud terms.
You are responsible for the people you invite. By creating a My Circle invite you represent that (a) you have the relationship and personal judgment to share this information with the invited recipient, and (b) if the recipient is a minor, you are the parent or legal guardian or have their guardian's consent. Bivryn cannot verify the identity of an invited person beyond their Sign in with Apple identifier.
The information shared is not diagnostic. Recipients see interpretive summaries ("steady today," "needs recovery"), not medical advice. Neither you nor the recipient should use My Circle summaries to diagnose, treat, or make time-sensitive medical decisions on the sharer's behalf. In a medical emergency, dial your local emergency number.
You can pause or remove any connection from Profile → My Circle at any time. Pausing stops all future updates immediately; removing ends the relationship. Existing shared summaries on Apple's iCloud servers age out according to Apple's iCloud retention policy.
Bivryn Research Watch is a weekly AI-generated summary of health research relevant to your logged medications, supplements, laboratory results, and stated goals. It is informational, not medical advice. Findings are surfaced only when they might change a decision for someone with your profile — Bivryn does not recommend, prescribe, or discourage any specific medication, supplement, or protocol.
Do not act on a Research Watch finding by starting, stopping, or changing a medication, supplement, or medical treatment without consulting your physician or a qualified healthcare provider. The generator may occasionally surface findings that later turn out to be superseded by newer research; always cross-reference with your care team before acting on anything relevant to your health.
Bivryn does not require user accounts. Your data is stored locally on your iPhone, with optional sync to your private iCloud account. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Bivryn offers a 7-day free trial of an auto-renewing subscription. Pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region. After the trial, the subscription will automatically renew at the displayed rate unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Bivryn. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by law.
After your trial expires, you can continue to view previously generated interpretations and use logging, breathing sessions, and other non-AI features. Newly generated AI interpretations require an active subscription.
All billing is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Bivryn does not directly receive your payment information. Apple's terms apply to billing, refunds, and disputes.
You agree not to:
Bivryn, including its software, design, written content, and AI-generated interpretive copy, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Bivryn for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Data you log into Bivryn (your health logs, notes, blood-work results, family history, conditions) is yours. You retain ownership; Bivryn only processes it to provide the service.
BIVRYN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Bivryn will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its outputs will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Bivryn, its operators, or its providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of Bivryn. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty dollars (US$50), whichever is greater.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bivryn and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Bivryn if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Bivryn and delete your data anytime via Profile → Privacy → Delete all my data, followed by uninstalling the app.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify users in-app. Continued use of Bivryn after changes take effect indicates acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, except where applicable law requires another forum.
